Sketch for Survival Invitational
The Invitational collection is the core collection of the Sketch for Survival art initiative. It comprises 100+ artworks, including sketches, studio artworks, street art, illustrations and cartoons, all depicting endangered wildlife and at-risk wild spaces from around the world.
All the artworks in our core collection are donated by professional and award-winning artists on an invitational basis. In addition, the invitational collection showcases sketches and other artworks donated by our celebrity and explorer supporters.
In the last four years contributors have included Gary Hodges, Karen Laurence-Rowe, Katy-Jade Dobson, Sophie Tea, Julie Cross, Chris McClelland, Anne London, Martin Aveling, Sevina Yates, Jonesy, Annabel Pope, Rogue One, Emily Lamb, Siobhan Barlow, Clive Meredith and hundred’s of other artists. Celebrity supporters have included explorers Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Levison Wood, actors Dame Judi Dench, Dame Helen Mirren, Bill Nighy, Charlotte Ritchie, Joanna Lumley, Richard E. Grant and Stephen Fry, animator Nick Park, food writer Mary Berry, author Frederick Forsyth, presenters Rachel Riley, Liz Bonham and Simon Reeve and many more.
Joining the Invitational collection is 100 artworks selected by our expert panel from all submissions received to our SFS Introducing competition. SFS Introducing is open to all and is designed to showcase up and coming talent – there is even a Junior Introducing category for young artists.
Due to the popularity of the initiative, this collection is on an invitational basis only.
