As well as being exhibited at Oxo Tower Wharf, the artists short-listed for either The Wildlife 100 or Wild Spaces Artist of the Year Awards will now have the opportunity to produce a small commercial collection to be sold by Explorers Against Extinction at events and on our shiny new site dedicated to promoting conservation art, launching this Autumn.
This is great news for artists who will be be able to earn money from their work while also supporting a cause. It is also great news for consumers who will have the opportuity to buy original artworks in the knowledge that both the artist and the charity are benefitting.
We’ll be kicking off by showcasing collections inspired by #21For21.
Pieces have been specially created for us by previous Sketch for Survival awards nominees Alan Stanton (short-listed 2019) and Emma Swift (winner 2020).
We’ve already seen a few of the artworks in each of their collections, and can’t wait to reveal more!
