Explore the On the Edge exhibition at gallery@oxo, Oxo Tower Wharf, London, from 31 October to 17 November 2024.
This unique event, curated by Explorers Against Extinction, brings together three powerful collections under one roof:
- Extinction – a collection of artworks highlighting climate change through time, including works featuring fossils, artefacts, and materials from Happisburgh in Norfolk, the home of Explorers Against Extinction. Contributing artists include Richard Deacon, Emily Young, Sebastiao Salgado, Richard Mosse, Andy Goldsworthy and many more. Extinction has previously been exhibited at the Palace of Westminster in London, Nature In Art n Gloucestershire, The Fine Art Society in Edinburgh and now on the South Bank in London. - On the Brink -this collection features framed studio artworks from leading international artists, focusing on wildlife and ecosystems under threat. Available through our online auction, these stunning pieces are sold on a 50/50 basis with the artist (unless specified otherwise), with proceeds supporting teh charity. - Sketch for Survival – the Sketch for Survival collection includes 100 artworks from professional and amateur artists alike, generously donated to support our conservation projects. Alongside these are 20 Junior Finalist pieces, showcasing the incredible talent of young artists from around the world. Each artwork celebrates the wild.
