Sketch for Survival 2021

Many thanks to all the artists who supported us through our Sketch for Survival 2021 competition. It has been another record-breaking year, with nearly 1,000 entries from 47 countries. Our youngest artist was aged 2 and the oldest 90. The variety was incredible with paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolour; drawings and sketches in pencil, biro, felt tip and ink; mosaics, needlework, resins, felt work,  canvas, board…the list goes on.

Selection took several days, with plenty of healthy debate and deliberation between members of the panel. There are three collections,  plus Juniors:

100 Finalists –  artwork exhibited at [email protected] alongside our Invitational Collection and then sold via our online auction 28 November.

100 Highly Commended  –  artworks displayed for sale in aid of our projects in both our pop-up and online stores, including [email protected]

100 Conservation Collection –  artworks showcased through virtual gallery space and offered for sale online in aid of our projects from 1 October.

Many thanks to everyone who took part in this year’s Sketch for Survival, and congratulations to all the selected artists.
