Sketch for Survival Finalists & Runners-Up 2022

The finalists in the Sketch for Survival 2022 competition have now been decided. The finalists’ work was auctioned online in aid of our Project Fund on Sunday 20 November following our exhibition tour.
The 2022 competition stands out for a number of reasons: we had more entries than ever before – thank you to everyone who got involved this year – and more nationalities took part (more than 90!). There was fantastic diversity in medium, technique and style as well as in the threatened species and at-risk wild spaces portrayed.
Some things don’t change – cats, yet again, proved to be hugely popular, accounting for one third of all entries. We received more birds than ever before (20% of entries) from regal raptors to comedic penguins. There were very few elephants entered in 2022.
