The Everest Base Camp team raised over £3,471 for Explorers Against Extinction in 2020.

Jack O’Shea raised £6,480.38 on his epic cycle from Kenya to the Cape in 2019 with funds split between two charities.

Brothers, Zach & Jago Taylor completed a 26km challenge running and kayaking to raise £282 for Explorers Against Extinction in 2018.

Supporter, Fiona, sells eggs from her chickens to colleagues at work and has raised £100 so far…a cracking effort!

Artist David Skidmore kindly donated a percentage of sales from wildlife print, On the Move,  totalling £50. Thank you David!

Thank you to Samsung in Surrey for holding a coffee morning and bake sale in aid of Explorers Against Extinction and donating £73.42.

10 year old Harriet raised a superb £328 for Explorers Against Extinction by walking 100 miles in 10 walks – she even went on the radio to talk about her fundraising. Thank you Harriet!

Claudia Zindl took on the South Coast Challenge and walked 100km to raise £765 for Explorers Against Extinction.

Thank you to Ashley, Tristan, Jason, Heather, Simon and Duncan who battled injury and weather to complete their Hadrian’s Wall trek and raise over £2000 for one of our 21 for 21 Projects: Protecting Ol Pejeta.

Conservation artist, Carol Barrett, generously donates a percentage from artwork sales to Explorers Against Extinction  – a whopping £920 in 2020!  In addition, Carol is also a loyal supporter of Sketch for Survival. Thank you Carol! Amazing. Here she is in Namibia at the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

Astra Taylor Todd has published her first children’s book in 2020 called The Blue Tit Travels. Congratulations Astra! The first book, in a series of 7, explores the wildlife of Africa. Astra is kindly donating a percentage of the book’s profit to Explorers Against Extinction. The book features wonderful illustrations and is priced at just £4.99. Order your signed copy HERE.

Many thanks to Lisa Harris who battled the wind and rain to complete the virtual London Marathon on October 3rd 2020 in aid of Explorers Against Extinction. Thanks also to Sheila Watts for her support – we hope you’ve recovered from your injury.  Here’s Lisa with her medal.

Dan Fuller completed the London 2 Brighton 100km in 25 hours 16 minutes and raised over £400 in the process. Well done Dan!

Artist Nikki Canham organised a 10 hour fundraising drawing stream on Twitch and raised an incredible £398. Her completed artwork, Orion went on to sell in our Sketch for Survival auction for a further £190. Thank you Nikki.

Congratulations and thanks to Jaye McGowan who conquered Yorkshire’s three highest peaks in one day: Pen-y-Ghent (2,276 ft), Whernside (2,415 ft) and Ingleborough (2,372 ft). It didn’t help that it was raining cats & dogs all weekend!
