Writing the future of our wild planet.

Stories for Survival is a creative initiative that celebrates the power of storytelling to inspire awareness and action for conservation. Through compelling narratives, whether fiction or non-fiction, we aim to shine a light on the interconnectedness of people, wildlife, and the environment. By sharing your unique voice, you can contribute to a global conversation about the challenges our planet faces and the hope that lies in protecting its future.

In 2025 Stories for Survival is being run in association with PureTravel, a leading UK Travel Blog. Pure Travel has supported both conservation and travel writing since 2008. This year, the winning Stories for Survival author will be awarded a US$500 prize sponsored by Pure Travel, which they may like to put towards future travels.
