Explorers Against Extinction is a registered UK conservation charity (No 1177505.) We work to recover key species and restore ecosystems.
Partnerships to Protect the Wild
We partner with frontline projects around the world. So far, we’ve supported specific, time sensitive projects in more than thirty different countries. We work with many endangered species from the forest to the ocean, and we also support reforestation and habitat protection projects. Projects range in size and spend – our smallest project was in India for just $2,500 USD. Our most ambitious project was in Central Africa for $50,000 USD.

Travel
As Sir David Attenborough said: “No one will protect what they don’t care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced.”
With a name like Explorers Against Extinction it will come as no surprise to learn that we are passionate about travel and its ability to empower local communities and protect wildlife and wild spaces. We promote responsible wildlife travel around the world through our bespoke tailormade travel brands: Real Africa, Real Asia and Real Americas.

Art & Photography
Art and photography are powerful and emotive visual cues – by celebrating the beauty and colour of the natural world, it can inspire people to protect it. It also helps to raise public awareness about a wide range of issues from the Illegal Wildlife Trade to Climate Change. We organise art and photography exhibitions. We also sell art and photography year-round via our pop-up stores, online gallery and during events. This helps to raise funds for our projects.
