Itinerary
Days 1–3 | 16–18 March: Discover Delhi

Depart the UK on 16 March, arriving in Delhi the following day, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy two nights at The Claridges, with guided sightseeing of Old and New Delhi, including Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, the Red Fort, Jama Masjid and India Gate. A rickshaw ride through Old Delhi’s bustling streets and markets is a memorable introduction to the city’s sights, sounds and contrasts.

Days 4–6 | 19–21 March: Satpura National Park

Fly from Delhi to Bhopal before travelling by road to Satpura National Park, a beautiful wilderness of forests, hills, valleys and waterways.
Spend three nights at Denwa Backwater Escape, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives accompanied by specialist local naturalists.
Satpura is particularly rewarding for its wildlife diversity, with opportunities to encounter leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, gaur, deer and antelope, as well as tigers. Its rich birdlife is another highlight for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.

Day 7 | 22 March: Through Rural India to Bandhavgarh

Travel to Pipariya to board a local train to Jabalpur, experiencing everyday Indian life along the way, from lively station platforms to the changing countryside.
Continue by road to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, arriving with time to relax at your forest lodge.

Days 8–10 | 23–25 March: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve

Bandhavgarh is one of India’s most celebrated tiger reserves, renowned for its tiger population and beautiful sal and bamboo forests.
With six private jeep safaris over three days, you’ll have excellent opportunities to search for Bengal tigers and other wildlife, accompanied by experienced local naturalists.
Bandhavgarh is home to tigers, leopards, sloth bears, jackals, jungle cats, wild boar, sambar, nilgai and an impressive variety of birdlife.
Between safaris, relax at Tree House Hideaway, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the forest.
Days 11–12 | 26–27 March: Return to Delhi

Enjoy a leisurely final morning before returning to Jabalpur for your flight to Delhi.
Spend your final night at Roseate House before transferring to the airport on 27 March for your international flight home.

Deposits & Payment
A deposit of £500 per person is required to secure your booking, with an additional payment towards safari reservations required 130 days before travel.
The final balance is payable 60 days before arrival in India.

National park access and safari arrangements are subject to local regulations and operational conditions. Wildlife sightings, including tigers, cannot be guaranteed.
